During the semester break, I have volunteered in a Creative Arts Workshop organized by Art in Hospital 藝術在醫院. The aim of this workshop is to help ease the anxiety of out-patients while they are waiting to see the doctor or for the prescribed medicine.
The product of the workshop today is a shopping bag which children can design and decorate it by themselves. There are many children come to our booths. Some of them are energetic, some of them are shy. Although they are suffering from illness, they all have high creativity.
I have encountered one child whose hand is physically deficient. However, he can still cut the cloth and stick it on the bag on his own. I am really impressed. I can see that he enjoys making this bag by the satisfaction on his face. Yes, a smile can tell everything :)
